Young Entrepreneur's Society
The Juniata College Entrepreneurs Club is a chapter of a larger organization, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization. As a chapter in the organization, the club will conduct entrepreneurial activities throughout the year. Fundraising and events will be coordinated by officers and members of the entrepreneurial club, aiming to accomplish two main goals. The first goal is to represent Juniata at the Annual CEO Conference, by not only attending but competing against other chapters across the nation for CEO chapter awards and scholarships. The second goal is to provide entrepreneurial support to fellow student entrepreneurs from any discipline and invigorate the entrepreneurial spirit on campus.
Continuous tasks:
Elect club officers
Educate officers on details of being a CEO chapter
Educate officers on how to plan, schedule, and coordinate annual trip to CEO Conference
Conduct fundraisers to build the club’s budget
Market club to new members
Establish official contact database of club officers and members
Annual events:
Host table at Lobsterfest
Apply/compete for chapter scholarships from conference
Attend the Annual CEO Conference
Compete for CEO chapter awards at annual conference
Compete for individual awards at annual conference
High schools visits to educate youth on entrepreneurship
Support JCEL Visiting Entrepreneur Series
Fundraising/budget building
Sponsor at least one cross campus entrepreneurial event i.e. Elevator Pitch Competition, Entrepreneurship Week on campus, etc.
